About Abhash

I finished my schooling from Jamshedpur in Computer Science, but the desire to tell stories was too strong to ignore. Hence, I did my undergraduate degree from Symbiosis Center for Media and Communication specializing in Audio-Visual Communication, and have since lived and worked in Mumbai. I have worked in the web as well as the film industry.

About the lesson

I would like to first understand what kind of stories/cinema a particular person prefers. Telling stories is no hard task; all of us do it everyday. But the hard part is to structure it well in order for it to appeal to other people. Taking a story and finding the best possible way to tell it is one of the major things to know as a filmmaker. I would like to guide the person from the process of scripting to production and post-production, explaining each element and process in intricate detail so as to make one well versed with the technicality of things. Its when you're not scared of the technical when you'll creatively be more free and fluid.
