My teaching methods are enthusiastic and engaging using audio/visual resourses and vibrant learning conversations
I am passionate about film and media. My teaching ranges from one-on-ones with students individually to class-based teaching with over 150 students. I encourage students to participate in their learning so they can feel a part of the learning process.
I teach in a very practical manner. We first go out a film something together. I share all my tips and secrets with the lucky student or students. Then we go and edit with the desired editing software and we then export to the social media of their choice.
My classes are hands-on and project based. I combine theory as we work on the practical work. In class, we review, breakdown and analyze films and the process it took to make them. The lessons will cover pre-production to post production including film editing. I am a hands-on teacher that believes in acquiring the technical skills that can help you start working in the film industry now.
My teaching methods includes reading of carefully chosen material and watching films and other audio-visual materials to develop a cognition that can understand, critique and appreciate the intricacies involved in cinematic endeavours.
Working hands on with any medium is what always works the best in this area. The more practice and exercise that a person can get in this area helps to define their individual voices, which is what would be encouraged in any of my classes.
I find out your goal, then we determine how to obtain it. Whatever it takes (within legal reason, of course), we'll get there. For me, it's about finding the stakes of a story, laying them out sensibly, and then finding the best way to bring them to life in whatever medium you prefer.
I like to use: Concise and precise PowerPoint lessons, relevant movie excerpts, fun group exercises, fun and relevant assignments that push students to excel themselves and be constantly striving for the best. All this with a pinch of necessary humour.
My teaching methods are more theoretical and practical. I teach, yet i allow the student to express themselves.

Logical, Practical, Important. These are my three main cornerstones. I bring students the relevant information for the profession. In addition to your college studies, you have the opportunity to apply this knowledge on the basis of true-to-life real-life case studies, and to see where there is room for improvement and potential for improvement.
Filmmaker currently settled in Mexico City. My creative interest has focused on film directing, for this I developed skills as a writer, photographer, assistant director, post-producer and composer, with whom I worked on a wide range of projects. I specialize in film direction and have developed audiovisual commercial projects, short films, documentaries, and television series for web and tv.
The teaching methodology I use is based on the idea of establishing a dialectical logic or we could say reciprocal, between practice and theory. That is, both spheres of education are considered as a whole, seeking didactic strategies for each case in a way that rejects the idea of mechanistic and empty application practices of knowledge, based on repetition, imitation.
I shape my classes according to the expectations and needs of each, depending on the level of the student or group of students. There is for me in education a desire for sharing and dialogue. I am bilingual, and can teach my course in French or English. In my screenwriting class, I combine theory (dramaturgy, analysis of sequences, to better understand their construction, characters, etc.
My methodology is structured in such a way that it is governed by the process of pre, pro and post production of an Audiovisual piece as well as some contents of distribution and dissemination of them. It is not required to be an expert as we will know step by step each of these processes.
Where are we? What are we doing? Why did I choose this language? We place everything in the historical moment with the reference figures, we break up and recompose the language to highlight the various parts and then produce an original work .
Lessons in Film & Radio Production to secondary school pupils.
One of my main approaches to teaching is to be open to discussion. In my opinion and since film/television studies can be a subjective medium, being able to have an open inquisitive dialogue helps whoever I'm teaching retain what is being taught because they're engaging more with the content, rather than just being told it.
My teaching methodology is hands-on in approach as television is a practical discipline.Employing simple language and humour, I am able to accurately convey my knowledge to anyone with a keen visual mind. I am patient to achieve the optimal results.
Depending on the specific interest of the student and the gaps, we analyze all the sequences in order to understand the specific language used, we analyze the various technical and creative tools used and starting from a text, original or not, we prepare a shotlist, moodoard and all that concerns the preparation of a scene.

My technique and approach towards making cinema is slowly getting involved through a very basic and to reach the pick followed by a in-depth journey of observation, identification and execution.
Building on existing knowledge and interests, I develop important expertise. This means that basic knowledge is taught first and build upon developing more in-depth skills. When it comes to film espacially, students should focus on a more hands on approach as fast as possible; whether through analysis movies or producing films is depending on the student in question.
My main methodology is debate, I believe that the classroom (even virtual) is a space for dialogue and horizontality. I am based on film theorists such as Andre Bazin, Jacques Aumont, Ismail Xavier and about the authors' own writings about their films.
