About Vera
I have 12 years of experience as a tutor, and teaching Guitar to High School and College students has become an important and rewarding part of my professional journey. During this time, I have successfully taught around 300-350 students, giving me the chance to work with learners from different backgrounds, skill levels, and musical interests. Each student has taught me something new and has strengthened my passion for education.
I believe that a good tutor should do more than teach skills. A tutor should encourage students to believe in themselves and help them understand that progress comes through practice, patience, and dedication. My goal is to make Guitar learning simple, enjoyable, and practical while creating an environment where students feel supported and motivated.
In my lessons, I begin by understanding each student's goals and level of experience. I then plan lessons that match their needs and help them improve gradually. I cover important areas such as chords, rhythm, strumming patterns, scales, finger exercises, basic music theory, song learning, and performance skills. I also encourage students to explore music they enjoy because learning becomes more meaningful when students connect with what they love.
A major milestone in my tutoring career has been reaching 300-350 students within two years. Seeing students who once struggled with basic techniques become more comfortable and confident with their Guitar has been one of the most satisfying achievements of my career. Their progress inspires me to continue improving as a teacher.
I understand that students may sometimes feel nervous or frustrated when learning something new. I therefore use patience, clear explanations, demonstrations, and regular practice activities to make difficult concepts easier to understand. I celebrate small improvements because every step forward matters.
My passion for education comes from seeing students discover their abilities. I want every learner to feel that they are capable of achieving their goals with the right guidance and effort. As I continue my teaching journey, I hope to inspire more students to enjoy music, develop discipline, express their creativity, and become confident Guitar players.

My Guitar teaching methodology is designed to help students learn in a clear, comfortable, and practical way. I use Communication, Accountability, and Integrity to create a strong relationship between teacher and student. My goal is not only to teach students how to play Guitar but also to help them become confident and independent musicians.
I start each learning journey by communicating with the student about their goals, interests, experience, and preferred learning style. This helps me plan lessons that are useful and enjoyable. I explain Guitar techniques in simple steps and use demonstrations, exercises, and songs to make learning easier. I also encourage students to communicate openly when they have questions or difficulties.
Accountability helps students stay committed to their progress. I provide clear practice goals after lessons and encourage students to develop regular practice habits. I check their progress in future lessons and adjust exercises when needed. I believe students should understand why they are practicing a particular exercise and how it will improve their playing.
Integrity is at the center of my teaching. I provide honest feedback while maintaining a positive attitude. I recognize students’ strengths and explain areas that need more attention. Mistakes are treated as a normal part of learning, not as failures. I encourage students to learn from mistakes and keep improving.
Depending on the student’s level, I can teach Guitar basics, chords, chord progressions, strumming patterns, rhythm, scales, picking, fingerstyle, song playing, music theory, ear training, improvisation, and performance preparation. I balance technical practice with enjoyable musical activities so students can see how their skills are used in real music.
I can also help students learn related subjects such as Music Theory, Rhythm, Ear Training, Songwriting basics, and Music Performance. I adjust my lessons for different age groups and skill levels.
My teaching style is patient, organized, flexible, and encouraging. I want students to enjoy every lesson, practice with purpose, and gradually develop strong Guitar skills and confidence.
