About the lesson
I offer a variety of services, tailoring my methodology to the needs of the pupil.
In addition to my experiences as a student of English, under many different systems of educations, I also have experience of the creative side, having been employed as a writer and an actor. As a result, I am skilled at navigating the connection between a piece of text and its audience. My ethos is simple, that the study of literature and language is nothing more complex than what makes us human, and that anyone can learn to appreciate the basic building blocks which can be used to communicate.
While my approach is generally holistic, I am also capable of providing more focussed and specific exam coaching.

Since being in Vancouver, my ongoing tutoring has primarily focussed on ESL, geared towards the IELTS exam, and the BC Grade 12 provincial.
