About Carly
I have always had a logical mind and a love for math. With a score of 670 on the math section of my 10th grade PSAT - putting me at the 97th percentile - I truly believe I can effectively tutor anyone up to 10th grade struggling in math, as I have completed math courses before Pre-Calculus with all As and a high understanding of the material being taught. I would always help friends with their math homework and they would give me positive feedback, saying my help allowed them to understand the material much more effectively than before.

I like to take an extremely simplified step-by-step approach to teaching. I break down every step of the problem as meticulously as possible so that anyone could understand no matter what their skill level with math tends to be. I am very patient with teaching and will not penalize any student for confusion or lack of understanding. Instead, I will try to adjust to their needs so they find it easier to process the information.
