About Dexter
Students will get to train with one of their peers. I specialize in beginning students between the ages of 8-13 who want to learn to sing in a musical theater or pop rock style. I’ve spent 9 of my 17 years in the field of musical theater and have trained professionally for all of those years. I was a member of a six-time award-winning musical theater troupe and have sung in more than 20 musical theater productions. When I’m not spending time onstage or at a rehearsal, I’m with my 18 cats!

Lessons will be held via zoom and will last for 30 minutes. Lessons will be between the hours of 4:30 and 6:30 pm Monday through Friday. Pricing is $15 per lesson and we will focus on both technique and audition prep. I teach ages 8-13 and focus of beginner and absolute beginner students. I choose to teach by doing instead of through scales, music theory, and sheet music because I find those methods to be overwhelming to beginning students.
