About Yarel
I am a bilingual student who speaks both English and Spanish. I come from a Mexican family where I have learned a lot about responsibility, respect, and helping others from a young age. Being the older sibling of two sisters has given me experience with patience, guidance, and supporting younger kids in their learning and daily routines.
Growing up, I had to work hard to improve my reading and math skills on my own, which helped me understand how challenging school can sometimes feel when you don’t always have the support you need. Because of that experience, I understand what it’s like to struggle and then slowly build confidence through practice and encouragement.
Now, I want to use what I’ve learned to help other students who may feel the same way. My goal is to support kids in reading and math in a way that feels patient, clear, and encouraging so they can improve step by step and feel proud of their progress. I also hope to earn money through tutoring so I can support my family and give back to the people who have helped me grow.
