About Christopher
I have just recently left school to peruse other endeavors but while in school I took a number of courses from everything from Differential Equations to Physics 2. While this is my first time ever trying to teach someone else math or science I think that I have gained enough of an understanding of these topics to help someone who is just starting out. My methods for teaching might not be full proof and might even change over time but overall my goal is to help students start to think about how what their learning in their classes could be applied to more than just a test or an assignment. A negative times a negative equals a positive and that is not only true in math but sometimes in the decisions we make. Cheesy I know but still true.

I have been a student who has had terrible and amazing teachers.
A terrible teacher relays the same information over and over again no matter who is learning it. They talk as if their students have the same knowledge understanding of the material as they the teacher do.
An amazing teacher is someone who takes see how a student is reacting to their information and changes how it is presented in help the student gain an understanding.
Knowledge is not the same as understanding. My goal is to help students go from a knowledge of the material to an understanding of how to apply the material.
