Hi, I’m a passionate piano tutor with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, specializing in piano. I blend academic training with hands-on experience across jazz, pop, and classical styles. With over fourteen years of teaching experience, I’ve guided both school-aged students and adults in reaching their musical goals. I believe in making piano learning fun, structured, and meaningful. Whether you're starting fresh or returning after years away, I tailor each lesson to suit your pace and interests. My approach includes developing technique, musicality, and creative expression. I enjoy helping students explore different genres while building a solid foundation. From sight-reading and theory to improvisation and performance, I offer a well-rounded learning experience. Whether you're aiming for performance, relaxation, or creative expression, I tailor the lessons to support your path. I focus on building strong musicality through ear training, dynamics, rhythm, and phrasing. Technique and theory are taught alongside creativity, so students develop both skill and expression. Confidence is key, so I create a safe, encouraging space where students feel free to make mistakes and learn from them. I teach classical, jazz, funk, soul, pop, R\&B, and more, allowing flexibility for students to explore different genres. Composition and improvisation are also part of the journey for those interested. Students who seek emotional connection or deeper meaning in their music receive thoughtful guidance to help them express themselves fully. Each lesson includes achievable goals, review of progress, and support between sessions when needed. I help students prepare for exams, performances, or simply for personal enjoyment. Above all, I aim to help students truly enjoy playing the piano while growing steadily and creatively.
