About Dian
Teaching feels natural when I reflect on my 9 years in regional chamber ensembles and my shift to full-time piano instruction. I have worked with 269 students over these years.
My method involves a patient approach to grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity boards. I emphasize scales and arpeggios to build keyboard fluency. Rhythm and timing along with ear training are essential parts of our work.
Helping you learn accompaniment skills is a favorite part of my day. I promise to keep our sessions grounded in a methodical and warm atmosphere.
