About Amber

Hi ~ I'm Amber! I'm from Fuzhou, a cosy and warm city in southern China. I used to be a children's art teacher, and now I'm your friend on your journey to learn Chinese! I've lived in the UK, so I really understand how tough it can be to learn a new language! I've also helped my foreign friends improve their spoken Chinese! When you learn Chinese with me, you'll get plenty of practice in class, which will help you use Chinese in everyday conversations. Since I'm also continuously learning English, I see myself as both a teacher and a student. This dual role helps me understand the frustrations and the "aha!" moments that come with language learning. I can better relate to your perspective and help you master Chinese in a fun and effective way. My Hobbies In my free time, I love painting, reading, travelling, and cuddling with my cat (I have a five-year-old cat who loves the spotlight—maybe she'll make an appearance in our class someday!). Background Experience I graduated with a degree in Art Education and have eight years of experience in children's education, having taught over 600 kids. I'm an enthusiastic person who loves to create joyful classes, turning "boring" content into "fun" lessons.
