About Brenda
Younger songwriters often sit in my studio struggling to find the right chord for their own material. Watching a student finally connect a blues progression to their original melody remains the most rewarding part of my day.
Having taught 320 students over 13 years of gigging in Melbourne, I know how to explain music theory without making it feel like a chore. My lessons often involve reading tabs or sheet music alongside ear training to ensure a well-rounded foundation. Helping you master rhythm guitar and maintenance basics is always a blast when the progress starts to show.

Learning guitar should feel more like a playground than a classroom. Most people assume that memorizing scales is the fastest way to improve. Actually, finding your own voice through simple songwriting exercises usually yields much better results. I use my 13 years of experience to keep things simple for kids aged 10 to 14.
We spend our time balancing technical accuracy with the joy of playing your own music. You will get the hang of tuning and maintenance quickly under my watch. Let us pick up the guitar and see what kind of songs we can build today.
