About Henry
First sessions focus on finding your natural rhythm on the fretboard. We start by mapping out the neck. I introduce barre chords and strumming patterns immediately. You will notice how music theory makes sense when applied to actual songs.
I value efficiency. My approach ensures you feel comfortable holding the instrument. Expect to play something recognizable by the end of our time together.
We keep things moving. I am here to help you gain real control.

My BMus degree from the University of Miami Frost provided a rigorous foundation for the music I share today. I admit that I often find it hard to separate my identity from the flamenco guitar I have played for 9 years.
I have supported 440 students including absolute beginners and busy adults with power chords and blues progressions. My 8 years of experience allow me to break down complex theory and improvisation into manageable parts. Working with teens has taught me that clear communication about reading sheet music is essential for growth. I aim to keep my teaching grounded and approachable for every learner.
