You arrive at our first session ready to break down a piece of music you love. I turn your song requests into simplified arrangements that make sense for your current skill level. We address fingerpicking mechanics and essential music theory while keeping the focus on actual performance.
Maintenance and tuning become second nature as we work through lead guitar concepts. My experience ensures you build a solid foundation without feeling overwhelmed by dry academic drills. Expect a straightforward path toward your goals.

I teach because the guitar is the only way I know how to process the world around me. Sometimes I forget that not everyone hears music in syncopated rhythms. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Berklee and have spent 7 years refining a style rooted in the Segovia tradition. My work focuses on returning learners and self-taught players who feel stuck in a technical rut.
Having guided 318 students, I know exactly where the common bottlenecks appear. I hope we can translate your favorite songs into arrangements that you actually enjoy playing.
