About Callie
I am a piano tutor with 4 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition, Piano Emphasis. As a composer and performer, I bring real-world insight and creativity into every lesson. I believe music is a lifelong journey of exploration and expression.
I specialize in improvisation and spontaneous composition, helping students develop unique musical voices. Lessons are tailored to beginners learning the fundamentals, as well as advanced students refining technique and creativity. I focus on making learning practical, engaging, and rewarding.
Students explore composition, improvisation, and performance, building confidence and independence at the piano. I emphasize creativity, curiosity, and expressive playing, ensuring each student develops their own musical style.
I love guiding students to create original music and express themselves fully. Music is more than notes—it’s about discovery, imagination, and personal voice, and I help every student experience that joy.

I teach piano with a focus on pop and contemporary music. Lessons include pop piano techniques, chord voicings, playing by ear, and arranging favorite songs. Students learn to play music they love.
I work with hobbyist adults and pop players, helping them build confidence and musical independence. Each lesson emphasizes chord recognition, melody, and creative improvisation.
We practice modern rhythms, chord voicings, and arranging songs creatively. Lessons are hands-on and flexible, designed to match each student’s pace and goals.
The goal is to unlock the secrets of pop piano, helping students play, improvise, and arrange songs confidently. Every lesson is practical, engaging, and inspiring.
