About Gail
"Teaching is my way of keeping the songs of my homeland alive for a new generation. I have helped 146 students find their unique sound over the last 12 years. My journey began as a self-taught guitarist playing bolero, and it eventually led me to refine my own vocal practice through years of gigging Latin music in Australia. I hold a degree that reflects my dedication to both the technical and cultural sides of performance.
Because I focus on vocal health and care, my students learn to sustain their voices through demanding sets. I incorporate my personal narrative of nueva-cancion into our sessions to provide context to your practice. My goal is to keep our time together light while ensuring you gain solid technical habits."

You will navigate the intricacies of breathing control, diction, and articulation while developing the confidence to perform in front of any crowd. By focusing on vocal range extension and vibrato control, I help you handle challenging repertoire with ease.
We balance microphone technique with rhythm and phrasing to ensure you sound polished and professional on stage. Having taught 146 students, I understand how to adjust my approach for absolute beginners, intermediate learners, and those at the advanced stage. You will walk away from every single session feeling like a true performer."
