About Krissy
With nearly a decade of experience teaching at Bach to Rock, Krissy is a dedicated multi-instrumental instructor specializing in violin, guitar, and piano. Known for blending patience, passion, and proven results, Krissy has helped countless students — from beginners to advanced musicians — not only gain confidence but also excel in their school music programs, often rising to the top of their class. A lifelong musician, Krissy began performing at an early age and served as concertmaster for two years during high school, earning superior ratings at the Festival of Music and performing with the Strathmore Youth Orchestra. Beyond the classroom, Krissy is an active performer, having played at weddings, special events, and with the DMV-based cover band “Off the Deep End” for nearly four years. Whether teaching a first-time beginner or refining the skills of a long-term student, Krissy creates a supportive and inspiring environment where students can explore their creativity, strengthen their technique, and develop a lifelong love of music. Several of Krissy’s students have studied with them for over eight years, a testament to their dedication, encouragement, and personalized approach to every lesson.

With over 15 years of musical experience and more than a decade of teaching violin, guitar, and piano, I bring both passion and patience to every lesson. While I hold a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, my heart has always belonged to music—and I will be pursuing a Master's in Music Performance and Education to deepen my craft and expand my impact as a teacher.
I work with students of all ages and skill levels, offering personalized lessons that are fun, engaging, and tailored to each student’s unique goals. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your playing to the next level, my goal is to make learning music an exciting and enjoyable journey.
