About Jayden
I'm currently in my first year of college, studying to be a mechanical and chemical engineer. I am tutoring to earn some extra money while continuing my engineering studies. Despite my young age of 16, that doesn't hinder the fact that I am willing to aid students in academic success. Fun fact, I am also in marching band!

As a tutor, my goal is to help students truly understand the material, not just memorize steps. I focus on building strong foundations, explaining why concepts work, and then guiding students to apply them independently. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace and strengths, using clear explanations, examples, and practice problems to reinforce understanding.
Teaching Method & Techniques
-Step-by-step explanations that break down complex concepts into simple, logical parts
-Emphasis on problem-solving strategies rather than shortcuts only
-Active learning: students work through problems with guidance instead of just watching
-Review of mistakes to identify patterns and fix misunderstandings
Typical Lesson Plan
-Quick check-in to identify what the student is struggling with
Concept review with clear explanations and visuals when helpful
-Guided practice where we solve problems together
-Independent practice with support as needed
-Summary and takeaways so the student knows exactly what to review after the session
What Sets Me Apart
-Started college two years early, giving me experience with advanced coursework at a young age
-Engineering student with a strong background in math and chemistry
-Able to explain difficult topics in a way that’s relatable to high school and early college students
-Patient, structured, and focused on helping students gain confidence, not just higher grades
My lessons are best suited for:
Middle school and high school students
Freshman college students, Students taking Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry (introductory), and Students who want help with homework, test prep, or strengthening fundamentals
