About Zoey
I am a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and hold a Licentiate of Music in Voice. My teaching focuses on supporting adult beginners, hobbyists, and those returning to singing after a break. I believe that learning to sing should feel enjoyable, freeing, and never pressured. In my lessons, I create a welcoming space where students can explore their voice at their own pace. I emphasise breathwork, vocal relaxation, posture, and mindfulness to help singers feel both grounded and confident. These foundations allow tone, control, and expression to develop naturally. I enjoy guiding students across a range of styles including Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult. Each genre is approached with care, making sure students not only learn the techniques but also connect emotionally with the music. I adapt lessons to personal goals, whether that means building confidence, exploring creativity, or simply enjoying the act of singing. For many, singing becomes more than a skill—it grows into a form of self-care and personal expression. I love helping students discover how music can bring joy, calm, and a sense of achievement into their lives. Whether you are starting fresh or picking up your voice again, I look forward to supporting your singing journey—at any age.

My singing lessons are designed to build strong music literacy and confident sight-singing skills. For singers who move between styles, training in intervals and patterns gives them the flexibility to adapt across genres.
