About Lauren
Teens and working professionals often struggle to find time for practice. I focus on making your limited time count. I have taught 313 students over 13 years of experience. Growing up in Cape Breton taught me that the ear is the best teacher.
I bring that tradition to my fingerpicking and rhythm guitar lessons. My BA American Roots Music degree helps me explain things clearly. Strumming patterns become natural once you hear them correctly.
Electric technique should feel as comfortable as an acoustic guitar. I am your friendly Piedmont blues specialist here to guide you.

My 13 years of experience allow me to adapt to your specific pace. We will build your rhythm guitar and fingerpicking vocabulary step by step. You will learn to internalize the patterns that make songs sound complete. I focus on steady progress that keeps the fun alive.
My approach prioritizes the natural flow of the music over rigid drills. I promise to keep the tone light while we work on your technique.
