About Ernestine
Developing hand independence and mastering scales and arpeggios requires a precise approach after a long break. I recall the feeling of sitting at the keys at 7 years old before my 9-year-old recital debut. My DMA from Eastman informs the way I teach music theory and sight reading to adult learners.
I have guided many students over 13 years of instruction. It is rewarding to support you in rebuilding your TECHNIQUE and musical confidence. You are READY to rediscover your own voice at the piano.
