About Marlene
Working as a management consultant in my main job, I love to spend my spare time teaching taekwondo, which I find hugely rewarding. Having trained taekwondo since I was a child myself, I love to see children become more and more confident throughout the sessions and see them proudly achieve their next belts - the same goes for adult students as well of course. Taekwondo helps me switch off from the stresses of day to day life to be present with my mind, body and soul.

Taekwondo for me is about becoming the best version of yourself and trying your best each and every session, whether you are a complete beginner or a black belt. But at the same time I ensure my classes are always fun and tailored to the individual to help you achieve your personal goal, whether that be your next belt or just improving overall fitness, flexibility, self confidence or discipline. I ensure my classes focus on all elements of taekwondo including patterns & techniques, elements of sparring and pad work, self defense and working on flexibility to ensure you are best prepared in a well-rounded way to progress.
