About Ashly
Silence often hides the most interesting voices. I focus on practical techniques such as warm-up exercises, vocal range extension, and breathing control to build physical awareness. My 13 years of teaching experience informs my approach to diction, articulation, and vocal health.
Students find that managing stage fear becomes easier once they understand their instrument through genre styling and sight singing. Graduating from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music provided me with the formal tools I use to support nervous beginners and performance-level singers alike. I observe exactly where a singer is today to build a sustainable path forward. The goal is to establish a foundation that supports your voice over the long term.

Diagnostic vocal assessment for every new student sets the stage for our first encounter. You will sing a short piece so I can listen to your natural habits and identify specific areas for improvement.
I draw on my 13 years of experience to ensure these early moments feel safe and productive. We spend time on technical adjustments and artistic exploration throughout the remaining 5 sessions. Is there a specific style or song you have wanted to master but felt unsure about tackling?
