About Rika
I am new to the Halifax area and finally want to use my Yoga Teacher Training. I am a certified instructor but also a Biomedical Science grad that understands the human body. I have a lot of experience with people through years of working and managing in retail. I love helping people to deepen their yoga practice and come to appreciate the simplicity of the movements!

I love creating classes that are catered to the student's needs. A typical class is 1 hour but I am flexible with time depending on the students' needs. I personally love strengthening, powerful classes, but I also enjoy taking the time to work slowly on creating a Mind-Body connections for students that are new to Yoga! I teach anything from a more gentle, beginner friendly practice to a more challenging, warming class.
