My method is to make sure the students have a firm foundation especially in Math. Then, I encourage them in what they know while introducing a new topic. I will explain the new topic and work with them. Next, I will have them work a problem and we will review it. Finally, I will have them do a problem by themselves to make sure they have mastery of the subject.
