About Nora
Confidence arrives when the music finally makes sense to your fingers. Does the fretboard feel like a puzzle you cannot solve? I assist you by breaking down complex blues progressions or exam requirements into manageable pieces.
Since I have a BM Contemporary Music degree, I ensure you understand the mechanics behind the music. Sometimes we might focus on pure theory for a while.
Other times we just play songs. I also offer a free trial session to assess your starting level so we know exactly where you stand. I am happy to help you grow your musical voice.

Sitting on my porch in Melbourne with a guitar in my lap, I often think about the Latin rhythms that shaped my youth. I hold a BM Contemporary Music degree from AIM and have spent 13 years gigging across the Australian Latin music scene. My practice focuses on the needs of teens, grade exam candidates, and busy professionals who want to play with real soul. I enjoy working with absolute beginners and intermediate learners who value tradition.
My approach is grounded in these roots. Teaching is my craft. I bring technical skills like reading tabs, lead guitar, songwriting, and blues progressions to every student. I look forward to meeting you.
