About Rebecca
Graduating with a BM in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music gave me the theory to back up my instincts. I have spent 13 years playing live shows.
These stages taught me what makes a song hold water and what makes a performance crumble. I work best with teens who need focus and self-taught players who are tired of guessing.
My 280 students have shown me that grit beats talent every single time. I teach real world skills like electric and acoustic technique alongside essential gear maintenance.
Whether you need help with barre chords or ear training, we tackle the hard stuff together. I know how to make power chords sound like thunder and how to read sheet music without the headache. You will leave these lessons with the chops to actually play, not just talk about it.

I build a roadmap based on where you are right now. Teaching is basically just applied common sense. Because I spent 7 years gigging with just a guitar and a mic, I know exactly what you need to survive a spotlight. We cover everything from chord transitions to electric and acoustic technique without any of the stuffy academic fluff.
My degree from Berklee keeps the theory solid, but my 13 years in the trenches keeps the music fun. It is mostly just about getting the basics of maintenance and rhythm down. Then we see where the music wants to go...
