About Raahil
Hi there! I'm Raahil, a friendly and enthusiastic Accounting and Management student at Queen Mary University of London. I have always been passionate about numbers and so naturally in school Maths was my favourite subject. I decided to take this passion to the next step by studying Accounting at university. When tutoring I aim to make sure the lessons are as interactive as possible to ensure that my students are engaged in the lesson and to ensure that they are understanding what they are being taught. I make it my goal to ensure that you leave the session with a better and clearer grasp of the topic than you had when you started. Once I feel that you do have a good understanding, I will give you plenty of questions because whilst we all hate doing them, they will in fact help you the most. After all, practice makes perfect and we want nothing less than perfect. I want the sessions to be both enjoyable and more importantly helpful. Teaching has always come naturally to me, as I used to teach my younger siblings, helping them to understand their school work. Outside of the session I am always contactable by mail so if you are stuck with anything and we do not have a session arranged, please don't hesitate to contact me and ask me any questions and I will happily answer it.

I like to start my first lesson with a short test to gage my students prior knowledge. This is to help me determine their strengths and weaknesses. I also like to ask students if theres any specific subject areas which they feel not confident with, and we work on building their confidence in that specific topic, through explanations and practice questions to consolidate their knowledge.
