About Pauline

Hello there! My name is Pauline and I am 21 years old. I've been working as a French assistant at Bellerive Catholic College and King David High school all over this past academic year and I. loved. it! I have been teaching pupils from Y10 to Y13 mostly so I am perfectly aware of the challenges to overcome when preparing for the GCSEs or A-Levels. My expericence in education has taught me patient, professionalism and empathy and has given me a great sense of responsability.
Taking conversation classes over the summer is always a good way to keep fresh in your memory all that you've learnt in French this year. You have come way too far to let yourself forget everything, without a fight.
I would also love to teach some little ones as I love playing with them and I think the earlier kids start learning a language, the easier it is for them to pick it up later!

About the lesson

I love bringing cultural input to my classes. I love listening to music, reading articles and chatting. I am not afraid to get off the beaten track for the sake of explaining a complex (or boring) grammar point. I can get very creative to make my classes playful and stimulating. My pupils' interests and well-being always prevail. My only wish is for them to enjoy speaking and learning about French and feel relaxed and comfortable during my classes.
