About Petra

My lessons are interactive and structured online, with plenty of guided practice, constructive feedback, and strategies that students can apply in the classroom. I help students develop, particularly in vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing.

For example, I would work with helping a student on strategies for finding specific evidence in a reading passage, identifying what the question is asking, and explaining the answer clearly in their own words. With writing, I would also work on sentence structure, vocabulary, organization, and developing ideas with stronger supporting details.

I do offer both online and in-person tutoring.

About the lesson
