About Crystal
Having earned a Master of Arts in Music Education and a TESOL cert at McGill, do you ever wonder how your unique vocal range could expand? My teaching centers on stage fear management, head and chest voice, pitch control, rhythm, and phrasing. I work with students to refine their warm-up exercises, tone, resonance, and general vocal range extension. Genre styling for pop, classical, or musical theater requires a blend of technical discipline and creative expression.
I support students who want to build performance confidence while utilizing the expertise gained from my years of academic study. You can expect a calm environment where your voice develops according to your natural cadence.

I spend time building a personalized song list centered on your specific range before we even meet for the first time. I admit that picking the right material is often harder than the actual singing. It serves as our anchor for the entire session. My background in music education helps me explain vocal physiology in simple, accessible terms.
I focus on the connection between your breath and the final sound produced. This makes the technical side of singing feel intuitive. I look forward to hearing your voice.
