About Lewis
My name is Lewis and I have loved maths all my life. I've achieved a 9 at GCSE, A*s at A-Level and a 1st at university. I thoroughly enjoy maths and believe everyone should but if you don't, I think you simply haven't found the right teacher yet! I can confidently say that maths is everywhere and I find that when the maths becomes about your favourite hobby, it's more fun. I've worked in multiple schools as a temporary teaching assistant and, more recently, as an in-person tutor with WeSolveProblems where I get to teach some amazing topics and students don't have the burden of homework or exams; it's all for fun. As a tutor, I love the opportunity to use my maths knowledge and expertise to help younger students where they're at by either pushing them to achieve that higher grade or making it less boring.

I have experience teaching maths to year 7-13 students of a range of abilities from bottom set year 7 to students aspiring to take the higher maths GCSE. At WeSolveProblems, I've had the opportunity to teach 11-16 yr olds topics that students would usually first encounter at university as well as olympiad style prep questions. Sessions are 50 minutes beginning on the hour. The first lesson will help me get an idea of your ability and from there I can plan topics to cover each lesson. Feel free to bring problems to the lesson you would like me to help break down.
