About Joel
- My name is Joel White and I am currently in my 2nd year studying A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, after receiving grade 9s in all of these subjects and more at GCSE.
- Having mentored younger pupils in my school, I have learned the huge value of 1 on 1 learning compared with learning in a large class and I wish to provide this opportunity to as many students of Maths, all the way up to GCSE, as possible, for a comparatively minimal cost.

My teaching methods will be personalised to each and every student, based on my assessments of their current ability and how they best learn. As much as possible, I give my students the space to try new problems by applying previous knowledge and skills, before we discuss the formal methods. This is because, in my experience, struggling through a problem makes the solution much more memorable than if we were to discuss the formal methods first.
