About Daisy
As someone who wasn't intially interested in a career in science and only became interested in it because of my teachers, I would love to be able to give someone the same oppotunity to find genuine interest in science. While I love science I'm also incredibly interested in art and history and I believe that these interests are what make me better at comphrehension and taking creative approaches to teaching. I feel really strongly about encouraging kids to use the skills they've gained in their other hobbies and interest to help them with science and create their own unqiue approach.

I want to help encourage students to feel more confident in science and I'm happy to do that by any means, wether that be a short lesson to cover one harder topic or a longer lesson to go over multiple topics. I love to incorporate diagrams and talking through complex topics in a more casual way to help students get more understanding and really engage with content. I want these lessons to be collaberative and personalised, typically aimed GCSE students but I am available to help with A-level topics as well. I'm currently an undergraduate at the University of Exeter studying Medical sciences and I've had previous experience with mentoring GCSE students with science content.
