About Oliver
I'm Ollie, and I am currently in my 2st year of studying medicine at the University of Bristol. I achieved 4 A*s at A-level and 12 grade 9s at GCSE. I am a firm believer that everyone has the ability to grasp the concepts of the subject they learn, it may just take someone else to explain it to unlock that door of understanding. My lessons will be held online and will last around 1-2 hours, following the Pomodoro technique. This means I will work with the student for 25 minutes, and then have a 5 minute break, and repeat this. This technique has always worked for me to enhance my attention and productivity, and I feel it will work for the student too. I like to teach by taking concepts back to its foundations and working up from there, and make sure my sessions are as interactive as possible as this is the best way to learn. My lessons are mainly targeted at GCSE and A-level students studying chemistry and/or biology, but would be open to teaching any younger students in similar areas. I studied and achieved the top grade in both of these subjects, so understand the methods to really tackle the concepts of these subjects.
