About Natalie
"Have you ever felt the weight of stage fright when stepping up to the microphone? My Bachelor of Music in Popular Music from the University of Southern California provides the foundation for my vocal coaching. I spent 13 years performing in acoustic sets across the South and Southwest, which taught me the reality of vocal health and care.
This experience helps me guide teens, working professionals, and absolute beginners through the complexities of finding their natural voice. I lean into the gospel and blues traditions to show how head and chest voice can blend seamlessly. It is a pleasure to watch a student overcome their nerves and realize what they can actually do. "The warm, resonant vibration of a well-supported note creates a physical shift in how you carry yourself. My approach starts with gentle warm-up exercises before moving into microphone technique and harmony singing. I review your performance recordings each month to ensure we are tracking your progress with vocal range extension and clarity.
This specific process allows me to provide clear feedback on your growth since our first meeting. With 366 students taught, I know how to manage the unique needs of teens and adults who are just starting out. My background from the University of Southern California informs how we tackle stage fear and long-term vocal maintenance.
Because I have spent 9 years gigging, I prioritize habits that keep your instrument safe during long rehearsals. We will work through the mechanics of your sound until everything feels consistent. Sometimes just listening back to your own voice is the best way to move forward."
