About Shivam
I strongly believe that Mathematics is about Illustration, Manipulation, and Discussion. Through Illustration, I try to make difficult and abstract concepts easier to understand using diagrams, visual representations, examples, and real-life applications. Through Manipulation, I encourage students to work with mathematical ideas, experiment with different approaches, identify patterns, and understand how and why a particular method works. Through Discussion, I encourage students to ask questions, explain their thinking, and explore alternative methods of solving problems.
