About Kaitlyn

I love helping students learn in a unique way, and my teaching style changes dependent on the person I tutor.I like to cater to the student's needs moreso and make the learning expereince more enjoyable.

I love seeing kids smiling or that aha moment when I guide them through the difficult concepts. It's just amazing and makes me smile that kids who once struggled with something are able to smile because they now have figured out the hard concept.

I've tutored kids in my middle and high school and I want to continue that despite being in college. I achieved high marks in most of my math classes in middle and high school, and enjoy math as a subject.

I've tutored before and once I got to college, I realized that I really do enjoy helping others, so I wanted to continue that here.

I've tutored kids with various math subjects during middle and high school. I was on the math team in high school, and I have taken high level math classes at college. Although I haven't underwent any special training, I do love helping others.

About the lesson

First I want to see their style of how they approach the material, see where the error may lie, and then cater my lesson plans to help guide the student in the right direction.

Lots of middle and high school students. I have minimal expereince with college students, seeing as how I am a college student as well.

If you are going to hire me, it won't be sugarcoated. I will give things to you straight, but will gently guide you through the learning process. It will be fun, we can joke around, talk about the latest video game, whatever it may be.

I was recently fond of helping saving abandoned kittens. It was a small event, but the story touched my heart at how compassionate these people were.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think you should look into whether you are putting the effort in the first place. Sometimes, (and I am guilty of this too sometimes) the problem could be that you aren't putting the time and energy the concept needs. Other times, it could be because you truly don't know what your teacher is saying. Try to figure that part out first before consulting any tutor (like me)

Details

I don't have standard prcing, I let progress be the standard. If the parents/gaurdians think I am doing well and think I could be paid more so be it. If the parent thinks I am doing a poor job, they can reduce the amount I am paid. I think as a base I would start out with $15/20 hour and that price can go up or down from there.
