I am an Australian university student currently living studying abroad in the UK as a 4th year. I have been tutoring English and Philosophy since 2020 but have also been coaching sport for 4 years - so I love to pass on knowledge and skills that I'm lucky enough to have!

My lessons are targeted towards high school and A-level students who want to work on their essay writing and comprehension skills. The main focus is on writing but I am equipped to tutor both English and Philosophy, as I currently teach and have taught in the past.
Initially, the aim is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the students writing abilities in these subjects. Over multiple 1-hour sessions I will dive into detail on how to approach each part of an essay, working to cultivate a well-rounded approach to essay writing.
I teach a style of writing that will help students to be able to learn and apply a consistent writing style that focusses on building a strong argument through a clear line of reasoning. I always prepare pre-lesson by learning the relevant text, and can help to edit existing essays and to build future essays.
