About Sheil
I am a medical school admit and graduate of Tufts University with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. I scored 515+ on the MCAT and specialize in tutoring General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and MCAT science content.
Throughout college and while preparing for the MCAT, I found that long-term success comes from building a strong conceptual foundation rather than relying on memorization. By focusing on core principles and structured problem-solving strategies, I earned top grades in both General and Organic Chemistry and developed effective study systems that translated directly to MCAT success.
As a tutor, I help students break down complex topics into manageable concepts, identify patterns across problems, and develop study techniques they can apply independently. My goal is not only to improve grades and test scores, but also to build confidence and lasting mastery in chemistry and the natural sciences.

As a tutor, my goal is to help students achieve true mastery of their subject, not just short-term exam performance. I begin by understanding each student’s goals—whether that’s improving grades, preparing for exams, strengthening weak foundations, or gaining confidence in a difficult course. From there, I design a personalized learning plan tailored to their timeline, level, and objectives. When needed, I also help students build realistic study schedules to stay organized and consistent outside of lessons.
