About Anastasiia

My name is Anastasiia.

I am a professional art teacher, printmaking artist, and art historian with 8 years of international teaching experience, deeply connected to London where I worked in art studios, hosted private lessons, and led group workshops for all age groups.

Currently, I am based in Portugal, pursuing my Master’s degree in Drawing at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto (FBAUP), following my strong academic background. Over the years, I have built a community of students from all over the world, participating in international art projects like the residency in Spain, Granada. Having also qualified in Art Therapy in 2023, I blend high-level expertise with an encouraging, mindful approach that releases stress and motivates students to express themselves freely.

I teach traditional mediums—including oil painting, watercolour, sketching —as well as Digital Art from scratch, guiding you through layer management, color theory, composition, and concept development. Having a strong passion for art history, I also make it engaging and practical for your creative process. For those aiming for professional art education, I specialize in portfolio preparation and entrance exam coaching. I stay in touch with my students even outside of our lessons to support their progress, and I am here to guide, inspire, and energize you on your creative journey for this new academic year.

About the lesson

My teaching experience of 8 years is summarised as follows:

• I taught the basic and advanced levels of sketching and painting.
• I worked on improving students' confidence through art expression.
• I gave the opportunity to help students develop their technical and creative skills in various art forms, from painting and drawing to sculpture and digital art.
• Art education involves a combination of teaching and learning, where consistency and regular practice are key to achieving steady progress and unlocking true artistic potential.

I continue to learn and grow as an artist while guiding my students in their artistic journeys.

Suitable for a children from 6 years and advanced program for an adults.

Perfect! Anastasiia is a very good teacher. She has been teaching my 8-year-old daughter for more than two months. My daughter really likes her. She said Anastasiia gave her lots of encouragement. She always listens to my daughter. Although she tells her how to draw better, she does it in such a nice way that my daughter thought it is her own idea! She is definitely getting more confident in drawing. She has already done some very impressive paintings. Drawing has become one of her favourite lessons. I am very happy with her progress. I would highly recommend Anastasiia as your tutor.

I’m an amateur in drawing, so I turned to Anastasiia for help to improve my basic and composition skills.
I want to say that Anastasiia is a truly experienced teacher. She’ll always help, advise and reveal the smallest details to you, BUT she’ll do it SO skillfully that you’ll be sure that you YOURSELF have created this miracle on canvas! I really understood a lot in such a short period of time and I'm so grateful to her!
Contact Anastasiia, i’m sure you will LOVE IT.

Just wanted to say thanks for making art class so involving! Your positivity and encouragement helped me to start learning academic drawing and do my first sketches.
I’m a beginner and drawing is my hobby I was looking for a person, who could bring me a basic knowledge.

Anastasiia is a great art's teacher!
As a not-very-visual-arts-person myself, I was a bit hesitant to try to do something in this area. But Anastasiia’s patience, support and step-by-step approach really made me feel confident to express myself through drawing and painting.
I think she is great for adults beginning their journey and guiding them to more and more complex works, and also children wanting to explore this area.
Anastasiia is professional, kind and always helps her students by giving actionable tips and recommendations.

Anastasia is the person who showed me how to paint pictures with acrylics and pastels. She taught me to feel colors and successfully combine them. A year ago, I thought that I could not even hold a brush and a pencil in my hands. But now I feel inspired. I highly recommend Anastasia. She is a great creative teacher. She has a talent for teaching.
