About Maysaa

Hello! I’m an Electrical Engineer based in Sydney with a deep passion for teaching mathematics. My journey with maths didn’t stop at school — it became the foundation of my engineering career. Every day, I apply algebra, problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking in real-world projects. That’s why I don’t just teach formulas — I teach understanding. Over the years, I’ve helped students build confidence in maths by breaking down complex topics into simple, practical steps. I believe maths isn’t about memorising steps — it’s about learning how to think clearly and solve problems with confidence. As an engineer, I naturally bring structure, patience, and clarity into my teaching style. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but genuinely understand what they’re doing — so they feel empowered, not overwhelmed. I specialise in: • Primary & High School Maths • Algebra • Problem Solving • Exam Preparation • Building strong mathematical foundations

About the lesson

My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s level. Online sessions are conducted via Zoom and scheduled easily to suit your availability or in person at your house. In our first session, I assess the student’s current level through guided questions and short exercises. From there, we create a personalised plan based on their goals — whether that’s catching up, preparing for exams, or building confidence from the ground up. Each lesson includes: • Clear explanation of concepts • Step-by-step worked examples • Guided practice • Independent practice with support • Quick assessments to track progress I provide problems at different difficulty levels to ensure strong understanding and steady improvement.
