My name is Mrs. McDonald and I am a seventh grade teacher at a local middle school! Volunteering her time during her school days to aid me in my classroom was one of the sweetest things Miss Tolliver could have done. The kids always felt comfortable around her even if it took the kiddos a bit of teenager-time to adjust. She made special blookets to help my kids study for history (I teach social studies!) She never had any trouble changing to meet each of my kids needs, and she wasn't afraid to help make my responsibilities a bit easier. Kailea taught me in high school for Algebra when I was a freshman. She never shamed me for anything I did wrong and even helped me get better at what she said was foundations. I had to get better at not using a calculator to do PEMDAS and I felt pretty hopeless. Her notes are always helpful and neat. She was patient and kind and she soon even became a friend. It was a miracle that I passed Algebra with a C!
