About Opeyemi

Firstly, I am also a student just as I believe everybody on earth is, we are all students of knowledge until the day we die. Nobody knows it all, we learn every day. But knowledge have levels, what I know, you might not know and what you know, I might not know and that is why I take no knowledge for granted, just as the saying 'NO KNOWLEDGE IS LOST'. I've learned a lot in my years and have looked for ways to impart knowledge in others but in an easier and more interesting ways. Learning is fun and should be indeed fun to everyone. That's is why I have dedicated a lot of time in search of ways and to adopt the best methods in teaching. He who knows it doesn't necessarily mean he can teach you, but he who can teach you, definitely knows it. Just like you can't give what you don't have, you can teach what you don't know, and I am not stingy with knowledge, never! So everything I know, I will want you to know, even more quicker and better because teaching is my passion, it gives me joy. We are going to have a lot of fun as my classes are always interactive, and as I say, 'fun-learning is the BEST learning'.

About the lesson

Applying more physical and realistic methods than theoretical methods in explanation, this makes lessons to register better, faster and hence, less volatile memory. A simple example is the use of friends and enemies in the multiplication of plus and minus signs where plus is depicted the friend and minus is the enemy. e.g - × - = + (my enemy's enemy is my friend. More realistically, if Russia decides to attack the US today, then US and Ukraine have an enemy in common and therefore will both become allies to each other. Adopting realistic methods have in many years of my learning and teaching experience proven to be more effective than theoretical methods. However, some students which I personally refer to as 'special' learn slowly and deserve special attention which depends on many conditions such as health, relationship with parents, emotional disturbances, etc. They require special methods such as developing a type of bond with them. A more effective method is having fun with them in an academic way such as solving riddles, this helps in stimulating their memory and develop their critical thinking skills.
