About Tiyana

Hi! I’m a dedicated and approachable tutor who is passionate about helping students understand challenging concepts and achieve their academic goals. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand explanations, using practical examples, and adapting each lesson to suit the student’s individual learning needs.

I believe that every student has the potential to succeed with the right guidance, encouragement, and support.
Being an IGCSE candidate myself and now a medical student, I understand how daunting studying can be. My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, strengthening their understanding, and making steady progress.

Whether you need help understanding difficult topics, preparing for exams, or improving your academic performance, I’m here to guide you every step of the way!

About the lesson

Tutoring sessions are open for all IGCSE students. For year 10 and 11, I focus on IGCSE Math (0610) and Biology (0588). For years below, I focus on math and science. Sessions will be conducted online and can go from 1 to 2 hours depending on how much help the student needs. I will ask for the student's syllabus in advance and talk to their parents or them about what areas they want to focus on so I can make a plan catered to their needs. We would go through the learning outcomes, notes, homework sheets and then end the class with some questions to solidify our knowledge.

Qualifications: 7 A*s and 2 As for IGCSE (including A* for biology and math). Currently studying MBBS at IMU University.
