I work with the student to help them identify areas they find difficult - this allows me to really get to know the student and understand the way they learn. I am able to recognise that different children have their own strengths and weaknesses, different confidences and insecurities, and I always aim to get to know the student first in order to tailor my methods accordingly. Through my lessons, I always aim to build on each student's confidence in their own abilities and hope to find ways and methods for them to view the subject matter enthusiastically. Next, I work with my student to plan what they want to achieve from each session and build strategy to allow them to achieve their potential, in addition to setting them realistic and achievable targets. Finally, I regularly check in with students about how they feel they are doing in relation to our targets. My students feel a sense of agency over their own learning, which I believe is key to achieving our goals.

Aaron was a great help to us over the years. He’s helped us through GCSE and A Levels. Recommend!
Aaron is an excellent tutor and I cannot recommend him enough. My daughter was struggling with her A-Level Politics course and Aaron went above and beyond to help her. She achieved an A which we are so delighted with. Thank you Aaron.
