About Michael
I’ve been teaching high school for 8 years, and I know how stressful it can be. I’ve helped tons of students with different learning styles boost their scores—especially on Regents exams—by breaking things down in a way that actually makes sense. No confusing explanations, just real help that works! Before teaching, I spent over 10 years as an architect, so I bring real-world experience to math and design. I’ve taught Algebra 1 & 2 (Trigonometry), Geometry, Pre-Calc, and Financial Math, where students learn real-life skills like banking, credit cards, and resume writing. I also teach drafting—both by hand and with programs like AutoCAD and SketchUp—as well as design software like Photoshop. I make lessons clear, practical, and even fun (I promise, math can be fun… at least fun-ish!). My students always appreciate my patience, humor, and ability to explain things in a way that actually clicks. Let’s work together and get you feeling confident!
