About Oladipo
I was born and raised in Nigeria, and in 2005 I migrated to Texas. I am a musician as well as a student of math. I play multiple instruments, and I graduated from UT Arlington with a B.S of Mathematics in Spring 2016.
Since 2016, I've taught math in Dallas ISD, Taught Math and Science internationally in Nepal, and been a TA or Instructor for Johns Hopkins CTY for 4 summers.
I've done this all while tutoring math to various clients and working as an active recording, performing and touring musician in the DFW metroplex in Texas. in Fall 2024 I moved to Sun Valley, CA for work in both fields and I have begun networking and finding my stride in this new environment.

I typically begin any lesson plan using an assessment to gauge the extent of knowledge my client has, and from there identify what a modicum of success looks like tailored for them.
From this a typical lesson plan would be a blend of question-led self discovery and analysis, example work, and practice. The ways this can look are broad and very from student to student, but the goal is to enable a student with the tools to problem-solve for themselves.
My teaching style is marked by a few basics.
1 - I trust in the ability of my client (adult or child) to foster an attitude of success, and I aid that carefully.
2 -Experience with planning to tutor online or in person, with students who are non traditional.
3 - Experience teaching conceptual mathematics extensively to younger gifted and talented students.
4 -Experience building a curriculum for Teaching artistry as well as math topics.
I have had clients from the ages of 11 and up. And uniquely a 7 year old. As a result of this i have lessons for:
Elementary, middle school, and high school math. Undergraduate college mathematics up to Calculus 3
Paradoxes & Infinities from Johns Hopkins CTY
