About Samhita

I hold an LL.M. in Corporate Law (CGPA 9) and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Criminology. I have also qualified UGC NET for Ph.D. admission (June 2026, 89 percentile). My research spans criminal law, victimology, prison reform and judicial administration, and my work has been published in reputable journals and presented at international conferences. I also serve as Editor of the journal Vidhika.

I am an active adjudicator in advocacy and research competitions at the national and international level. I have judged national moot court competitions, including a memorial national moot court, the preliminary and final rounds of a trial advocacy competition, and an international arbitration moot court organized in collaboration with leading global institutions. I have also served as a judge for the semi-finals of a debate competition and for a researchers' test conducted by a national law university. In addition, I evaluate moot court memorials and have been invited as a guest speaker at an international Model United Nations conference.

Outside the classroom, I am Faculty Convener of the Moot Court Society, head the Mentor-Mentee Program, and contribute to NAAC/NBA accreditation processes. I also speak regularly at webinars on topics such as Battered Woman Syndrome, mental health and criminal liability, juvenile criminology, and the rights of women and children under the law.
