About Ella
I have taught 6th grade math through Algebra II and Pre-Calculus. I currently work as an instructional coach helping to support other secondary math teachers. I have a lot of experience helping all sorts of students excel in mathematics--and I know that I can help you or your student succeed as well. I'm nationally board-certified and a winner of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching.

I believe all students can learn math with the right support and motivation.
I am particularly good at helping students learn to visualize math problems and think creatively about solutions. Creative and unique visual models can help students who haven't had success traditionally understand math in new ways. Students who have never felt like they are "math people" before have excelled with my support and tutoring.
